January 16, 2009 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web host
Supported247.com has been awarded a contract to host
InfoGov corporate and Proteus websites, it was reported recently. The company was chosen as a result of InfoGovs existing supplier failing to deliver a satisfactory level of support.
According to the company, its corporate websites, hosted on virtual servers provided by a well established hosting firm, were open to an SQL injection attack because the protection expected to be provided by the hosting firm was not in place.
According to InfoGov, it discussed the issue with its host and installed an anti-virus solution it recommended and updated Windows. Alongside its corporate sites, the measures also brought down its clients software sites. Supported247.com assisted InfoGov in retrieving the data from existing servers and setup new virtual hosting for the company within hours of the issue affecting their service. As a result of its technically competent support, InfoGov decided to transition all of its hosting requirements to Supported247.
Service is everything to us and you have certainly met our expectations, more importantly you have far exceeded the service levels provided by any other company we have used, InfoGovs Managing Director, Stephen Hall told the company.
