Web Host vStoike Rebrands to Veesp
Web host vStoike has rebranded and is now known as Veesp. Veesp, which has global headquarters in Latvia and a data center facility in Saint Petersburg, Russia, was established in 2004. The company specializes in dedicated servers and VPS rental, but offers a wide range of services. These include web, DNS and ecommerce hosting alongside SSL certificates and domain name registration services. The rebranding will support the company’s expansion in Europe and the United States.

Veesp has a 15,000-strong client base that includes companies and individuals both in Russia and around the world. The company’s rebranding was designed to help potential clients in Europe and the United States remember its name more easily.

Veesp prides itself on the quality of its services which include hosting underpinned by KVM virtualization technology. Alongside its rebranding Veesp has introduced a new line of ‘Compute VPS’ virtual servers that utilize Intel Xeon E5 v4 processors. The new servers also offer DDR4 RAM and “new enterprise level SSD storage organized to extra-secure RAID10”. Veesp’s ‘Compute VPS’ offering also includes Intel Xeon E5 v4 processors and DRR4 RAM modules alongside an HTML5 VNC console for the easy server management from any browser. Users can also install operating systems and add web applications with a single click.

The company has a range of plans available, ranging from the “Sandbox” plan at $4 per month which offers 1 virtual core CPU, 512 MB RAM and 10 GB of disk space on SSD, going up to “Compute 32” with 8 vCore CPU, 32 GB RAM and 320 GB SSD, which cost $200 monthly. Custom plans are also available.
