Dutch web host Yourname has formed a partnership with compatriot email security company
SpamExperts. Yourname has adopted SpamExperts’ “Local Cloud” incoming and outgoing email filtering solutions, which have been implemented using the web host’s own infrastructure. It has also joined SpamExperts’ “Hosting Partner Program”.
Yourname was established in 1999 and prides itself on a “fast and reliable” service. The company offers a range of services, principally catering smaller and medium-sized companies and individual website owners. Its partnership with SpamExperts has had a considerable impact on the amount of spam the company has received. This has allowed the company to steer away from filtering emails itself and focus more on its core business competencies. The move has also spurred a “significant reduction” in the incoming and outgoing spam Yourname customers receive.
“We are very happy with the SpamExperts spam and virus filtering solutions,” explained Yourname’s Director, Marcel van Offeren. “They give our technical department the time and opportunity to focus more on other customer related developments, and, with the integration that SpamExperts offers, we’re able to offer a higher customer satisfaction regarding spam messaging.
