(mt) Media Temple has launched a number of new products and services at HostingCon 2013. The move is designed to enhance the experience of customers using the company's products and services and offer businesses time-saving solutions. The combination of the company's enhanced DV platform alongside its new CloudTech premium technical support makes it easier for the company's customers to build digital business.
Known as DV Managed, the latest version of (mt) Media Temple's VPS hosting platform offers businesses cost-effective managed hosting. The new version of the platform allows LAMP applications to run 25% faster, while backups and maintenance functions run 10 times faster than with the previous version. The platform comes with a range of software packages including CentOS, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Postfix, YUM package management, and Parallels' Plesk Panel 11. An excellent service level agreement (SLA) underpins the platform with (mt) Media Temple's 20/20 Uptime Guarantee promising ongoing 99.999% server availability. Customers utilizing the platform within 30 days of launch receive a free CloudTech™ KickStart pack valued at $237 and an Advanced Performance Analysis CloudTech consultation alongside a Security Audit . Despite the upgrades DV Managed remains at $50 per month with no long-term contracts required.
Previously known as (ve), (mt) Media Temple's DV Developer enhances the DV platform, making it faster, better performing and more efficient. It offers the same upgrades as DV Managed and also provides updates that do not require reboots. The solution also offers vSwap - a stats solution - and with the removal of the previous 20 service limit per account, vSwap now offers unlimited scalability. Despite a new (mt) Media Temple 20/20 uptime guarantee, pricing for DV Developer and its upgrades remains at $30 per month, again with no long-term contracts required.
Previously known as (dpv) Nitro, the new DV Enterprise offers single-tenant VPS hosting solution with or without Plesk Panel 11. Pricing begins at $2,000 per month, again without the need for long-term commitments.
(mt) Media Temple also launched CloudTech™ Premium Support at HostingCon 2013. The service offers customers support from certified CloudTech engineers and includes an ongoing multi-channel support system.
