February 17, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting and domain name provider Moniker (http://www.moniker.com) will launch a ‘multi-million dollar’ live domain name auction in Las Vegas, the company announced this week. The auction will take place at T.R.A.F.F.I.C West in Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 7 at 2:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time at The Venetian Resort, Hotel and Casino.
Attendees of the conference will be able to place bids on a range of premium domain names. "Domain names are critical assets for all businesses, whether they are launching a new product or a new marketing campaign," explained Moniker’s CEO and co- founder, Monte Cahn. "Businesses and domainers alike need to consider domain names as investment vehicles that grow in value over time. Only registered T.R.A.F.F.I.C. West attendees can make bids. A silent auction will run online from March 6, 2007 to March 14, 2007.
