CDN Channel Elite Awards are presented by IT Business Canada is in its eighth running year and is sponsored by Dell, Tech Data, DLink and Cisco. The gala was a huge success and recognized IT Solution Providers for their innovation, leadership and commitment to creating value for their customers. Atum’s VPS hosting solutions were among the winners taking home bronze in the Greenest Solution Provider category and silver in the best small business IT solution.
Atum took bronze for the Greenest Solution Provider category. This award recognized the solution that most effectively served to reduce environmental impact and had an effective way of reducing energy consumption, the carbon footprint or the ecological impact of any business activity or function also contributing to customer sustainability goals. Atum has been very active in the green IT community receiving an award in the Quest for Canada’s Greenest IT earlier this year. John Posan of Atum was also a proud speaker at the 14th annual Canadian Pollution Prevention Roundtable discussing IT efforts to reduce the environmental footprint among different industry leaders such as Tim Hortons, Sleeman Breweries and City of Toronto.
Atum also took home the silver for the Best Small Business Solution, an award honouring a partner that created most innovative and problem solving solution for an organization with up to 100 seats.
