Deluxe Corporation (Deluxe) has acquired Boca Raton, Florida-based integrated information, technology and analytics solutions provider Datamyx LLC (Datamyx). Deluxe, which bills itself as a “growth engine for small businesses and financial institutions” caters to around 4.6 million small business customers with products and services that include “website development and hosting, email marketing, social media, search engine optimization and logo design”. The company particularly caters to financial institutions with services that include checks, customer acquisition, fraud prevention and data analytics. Its acquisition of Datamyx cost the company in the region of $160 million. Payment was made in cash.
Datamyx, which also has headquarters in Boca Raton, offers “Intelidata Express”, their proprietary online platform which provides marketers with “actionable insights that help maximize their return on investment in customer acquisition, cross-sell and retention-based marketing campaigns”. The company caters to customers in a range of industries including banking, credit unions and mortgage providers. Datamyx is projected to add $7 million to Deluxe’s revenue in the 4th quarter of 2015.
“We believe the acquisition of Datamyx creates a tremendous strategic opportunity for us as we continue to grow our marketing solutions and other services product offerings,” explained Deluxe’s Chief Executive Officer, Lee Schram. “Datamyx’s expertise in transforming data into actionable marketing information provides valuable insight and helps customers grow their business. These added data analytics and modeling capabilities provide our Financial Services segment with another robust marketing offering for our customers.”
