Web Hosting Provider Fat Jack Hosting Acquires NWAHosting

December 11, 2007
December 11, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Fat Jack Hosting (http://www.fatjackhosting.com/) has acquired NWAHosting, it was reported recently. NWAHosting has its own datacenter and has been in operation since August 2005.

The acquisition of the Philadelphia-based company is part of Fat Jack Hosting’s strategy to become an “enterprise-level carrier”. It is the company’s “fourth point of presence in the United States alone”. The company believes its expansion will be a benefit to customers and increase Fat Jack's ability to serve its virtualization products at a lower price.

"We will now be working with a live model of an alternative virtualization system without having to experiment on our existing client base,” explained Fat Jack spokesperson, Nicole Silverstone. “By moving to an open source alternative, we have the potential to acquire the information we need to reduce license costs. Those cost savings can then be passed on to our loyal customers.”

"This now brings us up to four points of presence in the USA alone, giving us a differentiating edge over small Web hosting companies,” added Ms. Silverstone. “Our entry into medium Web host territory is what will allow us to eventually mature into an enterprise-level carrier."

Fat Jack Hosting will offer NWAHosting clients access to “knowledge base articles, increased traffic from alternative sources and a newly added directadmin offering”.
