January 9, 2008 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web hosting provider Go Daddy has its own segment on the Fox Sports Network, it was reported yesterday. The companys female representative, Go Daddy Girl Amanda Beard, will act as sports correspondent during the Wednesday night show, starting January 9, 2008.
"Amanda is an accomplished athlete. She's clearly articulate and of course she's smokin' hot," explained Mr. Bob Parsonsm CEO and Founder of Go Daddy. "What we really like about her is the GoDaddy-esque style she puts into her reporting. She's totally in line with the no-holds barred approach on Best Damn Sports."
According to the company, Ms Beard will take viewers inside the edgier side of sports and test the boundaries of television sports reporting for her first assignment from the heart of Bourbon Street. While millions of Americans watched Louisiana State beat Ohio State in the BCS Championship game Monday evening, Amanda was producing her new off-the-field story to air tomorrow night.
Mr. Parsons is also working with Fox to get a commercial approved for next month's Super Bowl. Go Daddy is famed for controversial Super Bowl commercials. GoDaddy.coms 2005 Super Bowl commercial was censored as a result of reservations expressed by American Footballs governing authority. GoDaddy.com spent more than $1 million developing 14 different spots in a bid to appease ABC Television network's "Standards and Practices" division while meeting its own "GoDaddy-Esque" requirements.
