September 30, 2006
September 30, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting and domain name registration provider GoDaddy (http://www.godaddy.com) has launched a new service called Assisted Service Plan. The service has been developed as a professional solution for the company’s dedicated server customers who “lack the time or technical skills to administer it (a dedicated server) effectively”.

GoDaddy’s new service allows users to get servers up and running quickly and provides system administrators who address server needs such as patches, backups, monitoring and vulnerability assessments. For those who purchase a service contract add-on services such as security scans, backup and recovery, monitoring and escalation management are available at no extra charge.

''Our Assisted Service Plan brings Go Daddy's experience and credibility as a top hosting provider into reach for a new range of customers,” explained Bob Parsons, Founder CEO of GoDaddy.com. “By helping our customers who need a dedicated server but want someone else to manage it, Go Daddy is responding to their needs with a simple, affordable solution.''
