September 13, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider GoDaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com) has a new “Go Daddy” girl - Danica Patrick. Ms. Patrick is an IndyCar racing star and Go Daddy will be sponsoring her throughout next season. 24 year old Ms. Patrick is the first woman ever to lead the Indianapolis 500 and was voted Indy Racing League’s 2005 “Rookie of the Year.”
“Danica thrives on competition, speed and power. She is edgy, innovative and fun! All qualities we identify with at Go Daddy,” explained Bob Parsons, GoDaddy.com’s Founder and CEO. “She is redefining racing and is appealing, no doubt about it,” added Mr. Parsons. “She is definitely someone we want to be associated with at Go Daddy.”
Next season Ms. Patrick will drive for Andretti Green Racing owned by Michael Andretti and, according to Mr. Parsons, will be starring in a Go Daddy commercial early next year, although it is unknown whether this will be a Super Bowl commercial or not.
