November 15, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Hosted Solutions has announced that its new Boston data center has a new manager – Mr. Rob Richards. Mr. Richards will be in charge of what Hosted Solutions calls “New England’s most advanced data center”.
Mr. Richards will be responsible for the physical infrastructure of the data center and ensuring its equipment and support systems are “in a high state of readiness at all times”. He will also be in charge of “organizing, planning, coordinating and directing the maintenance functions of the entire operation”.
Before joining Hosted Solutions Mr. Richards was the Physical Plant Engineer and Outside Plant Project Manager for Global NAPs Inc. He was in charge of training and installing the company’s fiber optic cable infrastructure. Prior to this he trained at the Wentworth Institute of Technology and attended the United States Marine Corps Basic Electricity and Electronics School.
