MESI SRL has adopted the services of email security specialist SpamExperts B.V. (SpamExperts). MESI SRL, which has headquarters in Alessandria, Argentina, was established in 2008 and offers a wide range of hosting options. The company had utilized the Open Source (OS) SpamAssassin solution alongside proprietary software in a bid to secure its email service. However, the combination fell short of the company’s requirements and it implemented SpamExperts professional incoming filter solution in a local cloud.
SpamExperts, which had headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands, provides email security solutions to shared web hosts and larger organizations such as ISPs and telecommunication companies. SpamExperts’ services can be run either in its own "Hosted Cloud" or its customers' virtual hardware-based clouds. MESI SRL’s implementation of SpamExperts' services resulted in a “significant drop in unsolicited email” allowing the company to refocus its resources on core competency rather than dealing with email security issues.
“It was very urgent for us to install a comprehensive email security suit,” explained the CEO of MESI SRL, Mariano Tubio. “Things got out of hand really quick, and our tools were overwhelmed. After opting for SpamExperts’ Incoming Filter solution, spam was drastically reduced, and our bandwidth wasn’t as strained as it used to be. Our clients are now very happy, and our quality of service can remain excellent,” he added.
