The company, which provides interactive marketing and web development, branding, ecommerce design and development, and online marketing, has moved its corporate headquarters to downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA. The company has also invested over $100,000 upgrading its hosting facility.
Port City has upgraded from HP servers to Dell PowerEdge servers with dual quad-core Xeon processors, large SCSI drives, redundant network cards, and tons of memory each. "Dell was great in working with us on this upgrade project, from financing to technical support; we're grateful for their assistance," explained Port City Webs President and CEO, Mr. Erik Crago. A substantial upgrade of the companys networking equipment has also taken place.
The companys new website is designed to better portray the company's brand and capabilities with a more corporate look and feel. "We wanted it to be more representative of our current customer base and our target customers. The new site is a bit less artsy and more business-like, while still displaying our distinct style," explained Mr. Crago.
