PEER 1 Hosting has rented 25,000 square feet of space at Pearl, a 22-acre facility located two miles from central San Antonio. The company has signed a 10-year commercial lease for the space, which totals four times its existing space.
Established in 1999, PEER 1 Hosting is a Cogeco Cable Inc. with headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia. The company employs 540 people worldwide and its services include managed hosting, dedicated hosting, colocation and cloud hosting. The company suggested its move to the new facility underpins its "dedication to its people, as well as its rapid growth".
“PEER 1 Hosting believes that every interaction matters, and that starts with a deep commitment to our employees,” explained PEER 1 Hosting's SVP of Business Development, Robert Miggins. “We are proud of our organic growth and need additional space to support it in San Antonio. Beyond that, we want to keep our employees motivated and excited to come to work each day with an office location that offers both professional and personal advantages. We are absolutely thrilled to move to Pearl and to be in the heart of San Antonio’s newest hotspot.”
