Plesk has appointed cloud services provider ZNet Technologies Private Limited (ZNet Technologies) as global distributor. Plesk, which has headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, was established in 2000. The company is a provider of a web hosting control panel that is recognized as an industry standard. The panel allows users to “automate and grow applications, websites and hosting businesses” by controling all aspects of managing an online presence both on a server and in the cloud. With a presence in the United States, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Spain, Russia, Japan, and Singapore, 50% of the world's top 100 hosting service providers partner with Plesk and utilize its offerings. The arrangement will see ZNet Technologies market and distribute Plesk’s range of technologies through its global partner network.
ZNet Technologies, which has headquarters in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, was established in 2009. Owned by RP tech India (a division of Rashi Peripherals Pvt Ltd.), it specializes in cloud and managed services distribution for web hosts, IT service providers, and enterprises. The company’s ZNetLive solution deals with domain, hosting, and cloud services provision and “powers well over 90K websites and applications globally”. Its RackNap brand deals with cloud service delivery and business automation platform provision. Its solutions are based on technologies from Microsoft, AWS, Alibaba, and Google, amongst others. ZNet was previously a Plesk distributor in India, but the new partnership will enable Plesk and ZNet to leverage ZNet’s partner network.
