Website security solutions provider
SiteLock has partnered with domain name registrar Name.com. With headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, SiteLock is a globally recognized brand that protects websites against malware and other vulnerabilities. The SiteLock solution protects over 12 million websites worldwide by continually checking for vulnerabilities. Once found, SiteLock automatically removes malware. Its cloud-based services include a Web Application Firewall (WAF) service. The company was in the news late last year for its partnership with control panel maker Plesk. SiteLock will become Name.com’s “exclusive website security provider”.
Name.com has headquarters in Denver, Colorado United States and was founded in 2003. The company is an ICANN-accredited domain registrar that also provides web hosting services. “One of the top registrars in the world,” it has “over 1.5 million domains under management” and offers more than 50 different domain extensions. Its partnership with SiteLock will offer website owners a simple approach to robust website security. All SiteLock’s website security solutions will be available to Name.com customers through their existing control panel. They will be available on “an individual basis, as well as through packages designed to meet each user’s unique needs”. Name.com customers will also receive support from SiteLock’s support team.
“We are excited to partner with Name.com as their newest website security provider, increasing and simplifying security for their wide-reaching customer base,” explained SiteLock’s Chief Channel Officer, Tom Serani. “With Name.com’s direct-to-consumer model, we’ll bring our cybersecurity expertise to the people on the front lines. Cyberattacks are on the rise and becoming increasingly more sophisticated, so proactive website security is essential to combating attacks before they happen.”
