DiscountASP.NET has announced the launch of ASP.NET Core 1.0 hosting options. DiscountASP.NET has headquarters in Pasadena, California, United States. The company is a Microsoft Gold Partner and it specializes in offering hosting solutions that leverage Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET. ASP.NET Core enhances the company’s current Windows 2012 hosting platform.
An Open Source (OS) framework, ASP.NET Core represents an ASP.NET solution for Windows, Linux and Mac. It also represents “a complete rewrite” of ASP.NET, to the extent that it was given the name ASP.NET Core in recognition of the fact.
“We launched our hosting solution back in 2003 with early support for ASP.NET 1.0,” explained DiscountASP.NET Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Takeshi Eto. “Thirteen years later, we are proud to introduce support for the latest evolution of a now cross-platform .NET”.
