Established in 2010, WP Engine has a presence in San Francisco, California and San Antonio, Texas, United States, alongside offices in London, United Kingdom. It deals with more than 75,000 customers globally, providing services that include a fully managed WordPress platform. Roughly 25% of all websites on the internet leverage WordPress - an Open Source website solution that is available free of charge and is supported by a massive global community. WP Engine’s services leverage the popularity of WordPress amongst corporate users of all sizes. The company was recognized as an ‘April 2019 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Web Content Management (WCM)’.

Established in 1979, the company provides a regular/annual series of reports that allow its 9,000+ customers around the world the information they need to make proper business decisions. Its listings are driven by “more than 215,000 verified reviews in more than 340 markets”. Gartner defines Web Content Management (WCM) as the “process of controlling content consumed over one or more digital channels through the use of specific management solutions based on a core repository”. It considers the functionality of WCM solutions as going “beyond means of simply publishing webpages”.
WP Engine’s recognition as a ‘Customers’ Choice for Web Content Management’ underscores the quality of the services it offers.
