The official WordPress website blog (http://wordpress.org/development/2005/12/wordpress-on-yahoo/) has suggested that WordPress is now available on Yahoo’s web hosting services. The company has been working with Yahoo’s Small Business team to create a platform for professional bloggers. The result is what the web site suggests is “the best WordPress hosting experience on the Web”.
Yahoo Web Hosting now automatically installs WordPress 2.0 alongside a number of plugins and themes upon request, and Yahoo intends to upgrade software at the launch of each stable release. Yahoo Hosting customers also get free Pro-Blogger Akismet licenses worth $5 per month.
Guy Yalif from Yahoo suggested, “We believe that by adding WordPress’ blogging application to our leading web hosting product, we are providing a top notch, scalable, and reliable solution for less than $12 per month.”
