Custom WAF/Modsecurity protection
I've been using Copahost for a while now, and their customizable WAF has been a total lifesaver for my peace of mind. Since it's based on ModSecurity, I've been able to effectively shut down SQLi and XSS attacks before they even touch my site. I love that the firewall comes with GDPR-friendly rules, making it way easier for me to stay compliant with European privacy laws. The georedundancy across the EU is another huge plus, ensuring my pages stay online and fast no matter what. It's rare to find a host that lets you tweak your security settings this much without it being a total headache. For me, having this level of professional-grade protection built right in is a massive win. My site feels incredibly secure, and I don't have to stress about data breaches or downtime anymore.

Cloudlinux, Python, Django, Redis and lots of good stuff
I've been using their shared hosting plan specialized in Python. The environment is stable and performs consistently well. One of the biggest advantages is the full CloudLinux support, which keeps the account isolated and secure. I also really appreciate that they offer Redis, something rare in shared hosting. Their Django support is excellent and easy to configure. The built-in Git integration makes deployments smooth and professional. Another highlight is that the platform allows building Python dependencies, even for more complex packages. Performance has been solid even under medium traffic. The control panel is straightforward and developer-friendly. I've had no issues running multiple Python versions for different projects. The price is a bit on the higher side compared to other shared hosts. Still, the quality and features make it absolutely worth it, and I definitely recommend it.

A scam
Service went offline for days after subscribing, so I cancelled the subscription. Now they're trying to bill me for renewal of their scam product. Zero communication, tech support or otherwise. Avoid like the plague

No way to get EPP code to transfer domain out of Copahost
I've decided to change the hosting for my Wordpress site, and want to also transfer my domain to that provider. On the Copahost site I cannot find any way to get the EPP code, which is needed to do the transfer. Their knowledgebase is pathetic. Hardly anything there, and certainly nothing about getting an EPP code. Really nothing about domain hosting at all. I submitted a high priority support ticket last week, and still have not received any response. There's no other way that I can see to contact them. I suggest that you steer far away from these guys. By the way, it was also a pain having to personally pay an invoice every month to keep things going with them.

No response from either our vps or customer support
We have been a satisfied customer since 2017 but on December 28, 2021, all our vps suddenly stopped responding!
We handed in tickets and asked what happened.
The first answer we got was just a link to their console where we could see all our vps but with new ip addresses and they were not available.
After 9 days of downtime, we received the answer that they had to move our vpses to a new site and that they could not move the IP numbers.
So we had to switch around ip open about 300 domains so then we took the opportunity to switch to another service provider with a more service-oriented customer support.

Stay away from Copahost
We decided to do a test host for one month with Copahost. They were very responsive before we paid. After that our emails and tickets could go for days without answering, fake. Our site is still not up 2 weeks later. Avoid like a plague! Terrible!
