DO NOT USE if you want MYSQL reliability. Your MYSQL server just shuts down after any nominal load. 3 days to respond on any support issue. AVOID like the plague.

We've been looking to switch off of netfirms now for a variety of reasons. They claim they have PHP 5.0, for example, but in fact, do not have it linked on their servers--it's there, it just isn't what will be used. You'll get 4.0. But they'll tell you

Their technical support is awful, and the servers are SLOW!!! I can't even stream low-quality media fuiles from my account! STAY AWAY FROM NETFIRMS!

As long as you never need support, NetFirms is fine. But if you need support, you might as well kill yourself! They have no phone support, and their email support takes days (literally), that is if they respond at all. Stay away from them!

Webmail does not work!
They cancel services like cgi-bin without notifying the customer!
Technical support totally ignores questions!
