not good at all
I created an account with Smarteasp. It was the Trial account which I could use for 60 days free. Immediately I was met with a limit on disk space which halted my Wordpress migration. I was told that Smarterasp limits new accounts and I had to 'request' more disk space.
No problem, I asked for more room... they gave me 2 gigs. That was still not enough and so I upgraded to the Paid plan which offered "unlimited" disk space. I sent over my Wordpress blog in the form of an Updraft Plus backup. Then again the process was halted because I'd used 15 gigs of ZIP files from Updraft Plus.
These files would have been deleted after the migration was completed. Nope, I had to again contact Smarterasp and again ask for more disk room for the 'unlimited' plan.
They even told me that the ZIP files were 'useless' and should be deleted and if I wanted to store them, to go to an even higher paid plan. Keep in mind all the plans are unlimited so this made no sense.
I understand that there are inode limits and mass storage limits in place for most unlimited hosting but I was only 15 gigs into an unlimited plan, with files that were due to be deleted after Updraft completed it's process.
I requested a refund for the 3 months I prepaid, and had used only 2 days of (2 days plus the first day of a 60 day trial).
This company sucks... I cannot recommend them. Their disk usage begging, their lack of understanding on Wordpress migrations and their useless trial package that won't allow you to even test Wordpress.

Avoid SMARTERASP.NET because they started to steal commissions
n the past, I recommended smarterasp.net because they were stable and offered good price.
After ransomware attack and a few weeks offline of our website and our clients which we have 100+ on smarterasp we lost many many clients because of hosting.
1. Few times they deleted all our mailbox-es, and they're saying we deleted them (really!?)
2. Sites are so many time offline with 500 error.
3. In last 3 months they took away commissions from our affiliate account around $600 with explanation that their client got refund which is also our client. We asked the client and the client provided proof that he didnt ask for any refund.
4. Yesterday I requested payout and today they said client asked for refund after I requested payout (insane right, that after 90 days which expired and system allowed commission they refunded client!?) So I asked the client again, and they didn't ask for refund and they provided login to their smarter so we can check. From last nght till today 8 commission disappeared just like that.

Worse tech support ever
I've been with smarter ASP.net for over 3 years now. As long as you don't need tech support for anything, your good. However, if you ever need support, forget it. They totally hosed up my certificate renewal this last month and my site is still down. It's a web API consumed by amazon services. It has to be secure or Amazon won't use it. 2 days with tech support and they still cannot renew the certificate. What's worse is that tech support doesn't see this as an urgent matter. It is to me when my users can't use my service for 2 straight days.

Company has gone downhill fast
They had a shared server crash in November 2019 that lasted 3 days, took several more days to fix control panel. Their SQL database restore is no longer reliable. I filed a ticket two days ago and they just now responded. I've switched from them. AVOID!

Nice Choice For Windows hosting
I recommend SmarterASP.NET that I used to work on its windows hosting, and it works fine for me.
