AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Used to be with them for reselling and then POOF, one day ALL SITES WENT DOWN. The owner Darryl was no longer responding to emails and support claimed they no longer support us and our clients. qUIETLY and SECRETLY sold the business.

All sites down for 24 hours so far
The PrimeHost "main" web page (ie where you sign up to purchase an account) is live, but the hosting server (ie where all my websites are) has been down for about 24 hours so far. No notification of any kind from PrimeHost about the outage.

Stay away...
After signing up for a reseller account, I waited for 7 HOURS and nothing. I sent an email to billing and waited more than 3 hours and nothing. Bill phone support is doesn't exist. These guys suck.

When It's Down It's DOWN!
Took four days to bring a server back up that apparently had a Hard Drive crash. This happened like 140 days ago. Now here we go again being told the same thing. It has been a little over 24 hours and still all sites hosted are down. This is unacceptable

I had previously been with a much larger hosting company that gave me the feeling of being treated like a number. Definitely not the case here, especially since my accounts are but small portion of their bottom line, I am treated as a large customer!

We were a customer of ThePrimeHost for about a year. Their servers are awesome and their Customer support is amazing. They will go the extra mile for you with a smile.
Their network is exceptional. More than an year, only 20 mins downtime

As per my last post, it appears that the firewall was causing blockage. However there does seem to be an ongoing issue with slow connections on some nodes. Support team are GREAT & assure me they are working to isolate the prob

Going down hill - unfortunately
I moved my accounts over to The Prime Host about 3 months ago. Started off very well, unfortunately lately been having a the server go down every few hours. I'm on a VPS, so these probs may not be effecting shared hosting but very frustrating.
Company Response: Per your ticket #: VNU-789110 you were down due to your own firewall blocking you repeatedly due to your using the incorrect login details to your SSH.
