British data center operator Teledata UK Ltd
. (TeleData) has announced record growth. Established in 2007, and based in Wythenshawe in the northern city of Manchester, TeleData operates ‘Delta House’, a 70,000 square-foot facility that offers high-quality colocation space, data center solutions, and is “one of the most secure, resilient and well-connected (centers) in the UK”.
The highly accredited center features 2(N+N) UPS power protection and advanced security options that make it one of the most “resilient, reliable, and secure data centers in Europe”. The center’s range of options extend to Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), dedicated and cloud server hosting, colocation, and Linux and Windows (managed and unmanaged) dedicated servers. TeleData has announced a staggering 28% growth in the first six months of 2020.
TeleData’s growth puts it in a position to make 2020 its best year to date. The increase has been driven by colocation services that saw an increase of 15%, and a 48% increase in revenue from public and private cloud hosting solutions. The news comes in the wake of investment which helped the company launch a £2 million ($2,625) expansion that brought the data center up to its current size. The same investment added up to 200 server racks to strengthen its colocation activity.
“It’s been positive to see that, despite the many challenges 2020 has brought, our earlier investments into connectivity and capacity are starting to reap dividends,” the company’s Commercial Director, Matthew Edgley, said in a press release. “COVID-19 brought significant hardship to a great many businesses, but as a result digital transformation has accelerated, driving the market forward as companies realize the benefits of a resilient, agile, and scalable IT infrastructure.”Do you know of any other companies reporting record growth?
