California-based Web Host Webhost.pro Launches Solar-powered Data Center
California-based web host Webhost.pro has launched a new solar-powered data center in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. The new center complements the company's existing facility in Los Angeles and is shared with Las Vegas colocation service, Switch. The move improves the company's network redundancy and offers its dedicated services customers additional geographical location options. The company's full range of cloud and shared hosting options will be available from the data center.

Established in 2001, Webhost.pro (formerly known as "Domain Web Hosting Service") prides itself on quality, cost-effective services. The company hosts "millions of websites" including those of customers like "MySpace.com, FIFA, and Sony". Alexa.com suggests the company's network works 92% faster than some other providers on the Internet.

"We feel Las Vegas is becoming a booming tech market and that Las Vegas also has a very progressive look on new business," explained President of Webhost.pro, Charles Yarbrough. "By launching a new facility in Las Vegas, our company is set to serve customers with renewable energy enabled options, while also making sure to support clean energy."
