Canadian-owned web host
HostPapa has been mentioned in the 2016 PROFIT 500 listing. HostPapa, which has headquarters in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, was established in 2007. The company offers “unparalleled web hosting solutions” to a global customer base and hosts around 500,000 websites. It was ranked 360th on this year’s PROFIT 500.
This year’s is the 28th annual PROFIT 500 – an annual listing of Canada's fastest-growing companies. It is managed by PROFIT - a “media brand” dedicated to issues related to small and mid-sized businesses - and Canadian Business (a business publication that was founded in 1928. This year’s listing was published in Canadian Business’ October issue and details companies based on revenue growth over the last five years. HostPapa’s revenue growth for the period was 141%.
This is not the first time HostPapa has made the listing, and in fact it has been included in the listing for four years in a row. "HostPapa is honored to be once again on the PROFIT 500 ranking," explained Jamie Opalchuk, the CEO of HostPapa. "This achievement reflects the strength of our products and services in the web hosting industry but also the dedication of our team."
