Canadian Web Host SKGOLD™ Hosting Partners with Domain Name Provider eNom to Establish gTLD Watchlist
Canadian web host SKGOLD Hosting has partnered with domain name provider eNom to establish a 'watchlist' that contains a summary of ICANN's latest Generic Top Level Domains (gTLD). The watchlist will be created by SKGOLD™ Hosting customers who will add top level domain name extensions to the list as ICANN approves and releases them in early 2013.

With over 1,000 new domain name extensions in the pipeline, each covering areas as diverse as business, entertainment, sports, and geographical location, ICANN's initiative represents a major landmark in the domain registration industry. The vast array of possible suffixes mean end users will now be able to be extremely creative when naming a website. However, to get the name they want, people will have to monitor changes carefully - new extensions are likely to be released quickly and with limited notice.

"It’s extremely easy to track the newest gTLDs. Customers can create a watchlist and keep track of newly approved gTLDs at no cost and with no commitment," explained Mr. Sergey Krongold, founder and CEO of SKGOLD™. "I encourage everyone planning to purchase a domain or launch a website, whether for personal or business use, to start paying attention to this newest generation of domain names."
