3essentials has formed a partnership with IT software company SmarterTools Inc. (SmarterTools). 3essentials, which has headquarters in Morrisville, North Carolina, United States, was established in 2001. The company bills itself as a “leader in the cloud hosting and cloud server market”, offering a range of products and services including cloud and dedicated servers, managed hosting, colocation, backup services, business email and hybrid clouds. Its partnership with SmarterTools will see 3essentials offer a number of the company’s offerings.
SmarterTools, which has headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, was established in 2003. The company offers a range of software options including products that “serve thousands of companies across the globe in a broad base of market segments”. With an extensive global channel network, SmarterTools caters to around 15 million users. 3essentials will offer SmarterTools’ SmarterMail mail server and SmarterStats Web log analytics/SEO software. It will also offer the company’s SmarterTrack customer service solution.
SmarterMail gives ISPs and web hosts the capability to compete with solutions like Microsoft Exchange and offers businesses similar functionally. SmarterTrack is SmarterTools’ help desk application. The solution allows businesses to successfully track customer service and sales enquiries, providing a range of reports for the benefit of businesses. SmarterStats enables companies to collect statistics related to their websites for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) purposes.
