Cloud application management services provider Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc.
(Velocity) has announced a new partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Velocity, which has headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, was established in 2003. The company specializes in several areas, offering cost-effective Virtual Private Servers (VPS), public and hybrid clouds, managed disaster recovery services, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) options, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) services. The company also has facilities across the United States and in India, Singapore, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The partnership will see the companies “develop solutions for migration, hosting, and managed services (including technical and functional application support) of enterprise workloads on AWS”.
Velocity is an ‘Advanced Consulting Partner’ in the AWS Partner Network (APN) and an ‘AWS Managed Service Provider’ (MSP). Its latest partnership with AWS will allow the company to provide solutions that will increase cloud adoption. The partnership will also enable Velocity to develop greater levels of expertise with AWS technologies and give it access to additional technical support. The company will also be better placed to receive AWS certifications. Together they will also offer “long-term solution development to help customers innovate and drive their digital transformation at a much faster pace”.
“Velocity’s deep expertise of complex enterprise workloads along with our prescriptive migration and management approach, which automates most of the undifferentiated heavy lifting, combined with AWS’ secure and resilient cloud infrastructure helps transform businesses to be more agile, helping IT lead business digitization efforts,” explained Velocity’s President and CEO, Steve Kloeblen. “We look forward to a continued collaboration with AWS, simplifying not only our customers’ journey to the cloud, but the ability to gain better agility, reduce costs, achieve stronger security, and enhance resiliency.”Do you know of any other companies involved in new partnerships?
