eHosting DataFort (eHDF) has acquired public cloud services provider LiveRoute. eHosting DataFort, which has headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), was established in 2001. The company is one of the first to offer managed hosting and cloud services in the Middle East. Alongside managed hosting, and cloud services its services extend to managed colocation and dedicated servers offered through its own T3 data centers. The award-winning company has achieved a range of certifications including 22301 for Business Continuity and ISO 9001, 20000 and 27001. Financial aspects of its acquisition of LiveRoute have not been released.
LiveRoute, which also has headquarters in Dubai, was established in 2009. A Microsoft Cloud Gold Partner it was another of the first Middle-Eastern organizations to provide cloud-based solutions in the region. Its range of services include consultancy and design options alongside implementation, support, maintenance and training services. The company prides itself on offering a “smooth transition to the cloud including data migration and integration with on premise systems”. It offers Office365, Windows Azure, EMS and Windows Intune-based services and has “more than 70 enterprise clients across different industries and territories”. eHDF’s acquisition of the company will enhance its suite of cloud and other services.
“By acquiring LiveRoute, eHDF will gain access to key end-users who are making progress in their Cloud journeys and focusing on Microsoft application workloads,” explained eHDF’s CEO, Yasser Zeineldin. “This well-timed and strategic acquisition of LiveRoute, complements both our business models with respect to Public Cloud and Microsoft application workloads”.
