The annual MSPmentor 50 EMEA list acknowledges the best providers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa while the 501 Global Edition is a global ranking of the world’s top 501 managed services providers. The awards are managed by Nine Lives Media who considers factors such as annual revenue growth from managed services, the breadth of managed services available through a company, the type of devices managed on behalf of customers, and revenue per employee.
"We’re delighted with this recognition," explained the CEO of iomart Group plc, Angus MacSween. "Our success is based on the delivery of quality bespoke managed services backed by the highest service level agreements. We have recently invested in further data centre capacity and a super-fast fibre network so we continue to build on that success by providing the best connectivity and support to customers throughout the UK and Europe."
According to Nine Lives Media, the companies in their global 501 list for 2012 had a combined recurring revenue increase of $2.54 billion, or 24.5%. Together they managed in excess of 5.6 million PCs and servers alongside nearly 400,000 smartphones and tablets.
