Atlantic.Net is expanding its data centers. The company, which has headquarters in Orlando, Florida, USA, offers a range of products and services including cloud hosting, HIPAA compliant hosting, SSD Cloud Hosting (Windows and Linux) and CPanel and WordPress options.
Established in 2002, the company has data centers in Dallas, Texas, Toronto, Canada and recently opened a New York data center. The company also has plans to launch in the United Kingdom and an Asian country. The expansion has been fueled by growth in cloud hosting, an area the company moved into at the end of the last decade. The company is expanding its data centers across the United States as a result of increased interest in its services. The company enjoys 10% growth on a monthly basis and currently has in excess of 10,000 clients.
Atlantic.Net attained SAS 70 certification in 2009, the same year it established managed hosting services for businesses and government agencies. Its cloud activity began in 2010 and the following year began outsourcing IT infrastructure. In 2012 the company attained SSAE 16 Type II certification (previously known as SAS 70).
