A carrier neutral data center specialist with headquarters in Mumbai, India, the company operates Tier III and Tier IV centers which include facilities in the United States. With 5,000 customers globally, its PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and SSAE16-compliant hosting services extend to cloud and VPS hosting, dedicated servers and colocation. Web Werks was awarded the certification by independent advisory organization, the Uptime Institute.
Established in 1993 and with headquarters in New York, United States, the Uptime Institute is “an unbiased advisory organization focused on improving the performance, efficiency, and reliability of business critical infrastructure through innovation, collaboration, and independent certifications”. To meet the institute’s standards Web Werks’ network, electrical, mechanical and structural elements needed to comply with “the most robust industry standards” and had to display the ability to provide uninterrupted services.
"We want to stand in the industry as the most prevailing in terms of innovation and efficiency,” explained Web Werks’ CEO Nikhil Rathi. “Achieving the Uptime Certification uplifts us as a business and gives our customers fault tolerance at the IT Infrastructure level. Customers can co-locate their servers or host their cloud applications without worrying about any kind of IT infrastructure failure. We chose to get Uptime Institute Certificate, as it has helped us to build a data center where the electrical and cooling infrastructure will never fail," he added.
