Data Center Service Provider Web Werks to Expand in India
Data center service provider Web Werks has announced it is to expand in India. The company, which has headquarters in Mumbai, India, was established in 1996. It offers a range of services through five carrier neutral TIER IV data centers including web hosting and VPS hosting. Other services include collocation, dedicated server options, and a cloud platform and disaster recovery options. Web Werks caters to companies of a range of sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, and its new data centers will be in Bengaluru, Chennai and New Delhi.

Web Werks’ currently operates three Indian data centers and two centers in the United States. Its newest data center was designed and built by IBM and launched recently in Navi-Mumbai. Its new centers are intended to expand Web Werks’ ‘data center footprint’ in India, and customers will benefit from “high-availability, robust technology, disaster recovery” with guaranteed network uptime and “24x7 Rapid Action Support”.

“Our latest expansion plans put forth the ideas of extending our presence across the country to serve our existing clients with additional, advanced IT services,” explained Web Werks spokesperson in a press release. “Over the past few years, we have seen a tremendous demand from customers, thus giving us a path to driving our way ahead. Bengaluru, Chennai, and New Delhi are the high-tech and strategic areas and we also target to provide our offerings to a complete new audience located in these areas.”
