Dedicated server and cloud VPS hosting options provider Tranquil Hosting
has launched bare metal dedicated services in San Jose, California, United States. Tranquil Hosting, which has headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, United States, was established in 2002. The company bills itself as striving to ensure the success of its customers by “providing zealous commitment to customer service and delivering the most efficient IT solutions”. It caters to a global customer base which is predominately comprised of small businesses and start-ups. Tranquil Hosting’s bare metal dedicated services will be available through San Jose’s Central Colo - SV1 data center facility.
Tranquil Hosting’s move underscores what is an aggressive global expansion policy. The company has a new facility in Hong Kong which will begin operations ‘in the coming weeks’. The company also has plans for new data center openings elsewhere in the near future.
Central Colo - SV1 offers excellent connections to Silicon Valley and the United States’ West Coast. The data center offers 94,500 square feet of floor space and 6.5 megawatts of power. The facility also has a 14 megawatt backup power capability. The facility is connected to eight carriers and has partnered with AT&T and Level 3. The company will offer colocation, cloud VPS, dedicated servers, hybrid cloud, private cloud through the facility.
"Bringing our dedicated cloud services to San Jose isn’t just a big deal to our managed service customers — it means that our customers who run, or who are thinking about running, bare metal servers will be able to incorporate many of services as well," explained Tranquil Hosting’s CEO, Mark Price.
