June 16, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – A Senior Vice President at Network Solutions (http://www.networksolutions.com) has won the American Business Award (or “Stevie” award) for Best Customer Service Executive, it was reported yesterday. Ms. Shelley Rawlings received the award at a ceremony held on June 11, 2007 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, USA.
“Shelley has been a standout performer and one of the keys to the success of our management team at Network Solutions. I am pleased to see that the business community has recognized her for what she is - the best customer service executive in the country,” explained Network Solutions’ Chairman and CEO, Mr. Champ Mitchell. “The turnaround of our customer service department in recent years from the worst in our industry to one that stands above all others has been phenomenal and could have not accomplished without Shelley's energy, drive and leadership.”
Last year, Champ Mitchell, another Network Solutions executive, won “Best Turnaround Executive” for his leadership in turning Network Solutions into a leader in web hosting. This year, Network Solutions also reached the finals in the “Best Customer Service Organization” and “Best Executive” categories.
The American Business Awards are recognized as “the business world's version of the Oscars” and is the only national awards program “honoring great performances in business” in throughout the USA.
