Hybrid solutions provider OneNeck IT Solutions (OneNeck
) has completed Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) validation for its colocation services. OneNeck, a Telephone and Data Systems Inc. (TDS) subsidiary, has headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Alongside collocation, its services include cloud and hosting solutions, managed services, ERP application management, and IT hardware. Its latest accreditation provides benefits to any user of its colocation services that stores customers’ credit details. OneNeck’s assessment and audit was carried by independent CPA firm Shellman & Company, Inc.
PCI DSS focuses on companies being able to restrict physical access to cardholder data and maintain a information security policy for all their staff. The company has “proactively” requested assessment of its colocation services at its Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Oregon and Wisconsin data centers in United States. PCI DSS requires companies that outsource the “transmission, processing or storage of payment card data to a third-party” to ensure that third-party adheres to the required stipulations. OneNeck’s latest accreditation means such customers can use its services in confidence.
“For our customers, this validation provides additional assurance that we have the security controls in place to protect their data,” explained OneNeck’s CTO and SVP, Clint Harder. “Demonstrating we are PCI DSS compliant and audit-ready, especially with our diverse geographic data center locations, is critical to our customers. It shows them we can securely host their environments as well as deliver other PCI controls to meet the specific cloud and managed services we provide.”Do you know of any other companies meeting industry standards?
