Indian data center and hosting company Web Werks India Pvt. Ltd. (
Web Werks) has announced it is now an SAP-certified infrastructure provider. Web Werks, which has headquarters and data center facilities in the Indian capital Mumbai, was established in 1996. The company offers a broad range of data center solutions as well as cloud, dedicated servers, colocation and VPS hosting. The ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, ISO 20000-1 and ‘Uptime Institute’-certified provider was in the news earlier this year for winning the ‘Best Cloud Data Centers and Internet Exchange 2018’ category in India’s National Choice Awards. Web Werks received SAP certification after meeting “stringent specifications”.
Enterprise software specialist SAP has headquarters in Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The company offers software solutions that address several business functions, including ERP, business intelligence, procurement, analytics, and ‘dashboarding’. A Google Cloud partner, SAP was established in 1972 and is a global brand. SAP infrastructure certification shows competency in SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver workloads. This certification requires a rigorous third-party audit to “ensure ongoing standards for the management of SAP solutions”. Web Werks’ data center underwent an assessment of delivery and support capabilities provided by SAP’s partner certification group. It was evaluated against criteria that included “secure environment, redundant network, power, cooling, physical security, DR and backup process”.
“Achieving this certification is a key differentiator in the marketplace for infrastructure,” explained Web Werks Data Centers India’s Director, Nikhil Rathi. “It clearly shows that our services in support of SAP solutions comply with SAP standards. Our clients can now be confident enough to receive the high-quality support of their implementations of SAP.”
