Web Werks India Pvt. Ltd. (Web Werks) has won the ‘Data Center Service Provider of the Year Award’ at this year’s BFSI Cloud and Security Summit. Established in 1996, Web Werks has headquarters in Mumbai, India. The company is an ICANN-registered domain provider and offers a suite of services that include cloud and VPS hosting alongside dedicated servers and colocation. Recognized as a leading data center provider in India, it caters to a 5,000-strong global customer base offering “carrier neutral” data center services through Tier III and Tier IV data centers it operates in India and the United States. The company was recognized for its services to the ‘Banking, Financial services and Insurance’ (BFSI) industries.
Organized by Noida, Uttar Pradesh-based technology and media research company Elets Technomedia Pvt Ltd., the “BFSI Cloud and Security Summit 2018” was held in Mumbai towards the end of last month. The event is the second after the inaugural 2017 summit and designed to brings together IT and banking industry stakeholders to consider “the rising significance of cloud and to elucidate the issues pertaining to security risks”. Web Werks’ services were acknowledged at an awards ceremony that took place in Mumbai’s St. Regis Hotel.
