InMotion Hosting Introduces Fully Managed InMotion Cloud for Businesses Seeking a Private Cloud Alternative
InMotion Hosting, a provider of web hosting and infrastructure solutions, has announced the launch of InMotion Cloud, a fully managed private cloud platform designed for businesses looking to move beyond the rising costs and operational complexity of public hyperscale cloud providers.

Built on dedicated hardware and powered by OpenStack, InMotion Cloud delivers private cloud infrastructure with dedicated physical and virtual servers, scalable storage, and comprehensive infrastructure management. The platform is designed for growing businesses and technology organizations that require greater control, predictable performance, and expert support without the overhead of managing cloud infrastructure internally.

Unlike traditional public cloud platforms that rely on a shared responsibility model, InMotion Cloud provides end-to-end infrastructure management. The company's engineering team handles hardware provisioning, hypervisor and operating system updates, network configuration, security monitoring, and storage management, allowing customers to focus on their applications and business operations.

"We've spent the past 25 years helping customers grow from shared hosting to VPS and dedicated servers, only to see many struggle with the increasing costs and complexity of hyperscale cloud platforms," said Dan Cunningham, Chief Revenue Officer at InMotion Hosting. "InMotion Cloud was created to provide those businesses with a fully managed private cloud backed by dedicated infrastructure, experienced engineers, and the responsive support our customers expect."

Customers receive a dedicated cloud environment where they can create and scale virtual machines on demand while benefiting from predictable pricing, zero data egress fees, and direct access to senior engineers from the initial onboarding process.

The new platform launches with the Explorer plan, which starts at $399 per month for a limited time. The plan includes 24 vCPUs, 82 GB of RAM, and 1.7 TB of dedicated storage, along with fully managed infrastructure and onboarding assistance from senior engineers.

For organizations with larger infrastructure requirements, InMotion Cloud also offers Small, Medium, and Large managed private cloud plans that can be customized to support enterprise workloads. Migration services are available for businesses transitioning from AWS, Google Cloud, VMware, or on-premises environments, helping simplify the move to a dedicated private cloud platform.

InMotion Cloud is backed by the company's Results Guarantee, which provides up to 50% additional resources at no extra infrastructure cost if the deployed environment does not meet agreed performance specifications.

With the launch of InMotion Cloud, InMotion Hosting continues to expand its portfolio of managed infrastructure solutions, offering businesses a scalable private cloud platform that combines dedicated resources, enterprise-grade performance, and expert management.
