January 21, 2010 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – iomart Hosting
is delighted to announce that it has received formal public recognition from the readers of two respected web hosting industry sites as one of the UK’s leading managed hosting companies.
It was announced yesterday that iomart Hosting had achieved a ranking of 7 in HostReview’s Annual Readers Choice Award, the only European representative in the top 10.
Earlier this month, iomart Hosting ended the decade sitting atop a list of 25 major web hosting companies as “the most popular company” on the UK Dedicated Server Directory site.
Sarah Haran, Managing Director at iomart Hosting stated: "We are extremely pleased to have been recognised by the readers of both HostReview and Dedicated Server Directory in this way. It’s a ringing endorsement of the investment that we have made in our people, our infrastructure and the innovative hosting services that we design, deliver and manage on behalf of our growing customer base, over the past year”
Sarah added: “We are particularly delighted that our reputation as a quality managed hosting company appears to be extending overseas, and we are very proud to be the only non American Hosting operator to be included in HostReview’s Readers Top 10 for 2009. It represents a great end to the noughties for us and one which will inspire us to build upon our performance during 2010 and beyond.”
The HostReview Readers' Choice Award is decided entirely by its readers and is independent of the judgment of any editorial team. During the month-long voting phase, thousands of HostReview's visitors cast their votes for their favourite web hosting companies. Likewise the UK Dedicated Server Directory "25 Most Popular List" is also based on the number of votes a company receives from its readers.
