Jeff King has joined the Board of Directors of managed hosting provider Liquid Web, LLC (
Liquid Web). With headquarters in Lansing, Michigan, United States, Liquid Web’s hosting services extend to more traditional hosting, WordPress hosting and cloud storage options alongside managed dedicated server hosting and VPS cloud servers. The company has a global customer base of around 30,000 individuals and businesses. Mr. King joins Liquid Web from domain registrar and web host GoDaddy where he was an executive.
Mr. King is a 25-year industry veteran with broad experience. He has held key positions at a number of leading companies including Sun Microsystems, Magento, and eBay. His most recent position was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Hosting and Security at GoDaddy. At GoDaddy he was in charge of the company’s ‘Hosting and Security Business Unit’. Established in 1997, Scottsdale, Arizona-based GoDaddy specializes in providing a total solution for SMEs and larger organizations that require websites. As Liquid Web has a strong focus on SME entrepreneurs, Mr. King’s background fits the company perfectly.
