Managed hosting and cloud infrastructure services provider eHosting DataFort
(eHDF) has becomes the first company in the Middle East to receive Cloud Security Alliance’s Security, Trust & Assurance Registry (CSA STAR) certification. The company, which has headquarters in Dubai Internet City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was subject to a “rigorous audit process conducted by the British Standards Institution (BSI)” which was designed to determine the true nature of the company’s security capability.
eHosting DataFort is recognized as a leader in the Middle East’s managed hosting and cloud infrastructure markets. The company has won a number of awards and been recognized as the ‘Best Managed Service Provider of the Year’ in the region. CSA STAR certification requires companies to achieve ISO/IEC 27001 certification and is underpinned by criteria provided in the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM). ‘Management Capability’ is independently assessed by external assessment bodies which score each of the CCM security domains. eHDF achieved a “Gold” rating after its audit - the highest award offered to cloud services providers.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to provide the highest levels of cloud security and compliance to our customers, we are very proud to announce that eHDF has become the first company in the Middle East to achieve the CSA STAR certification with a Gold rating,” explained eHosting DataFort’s CEO, Yasser Zeineldin. “CSA STAR Certification is a rigorous assessment by a CSA-recognized independent body and provides customers with a benchmark to make informed decisions on cloud services. Achieving the coveted certification shows eHDF’s leadership and commitment to delivering professional and secure cloud services through world-class best practices.”
