Liquid Web, LLC, ( Liquid Web) has partnered with cloud infrastructure and digital workspace company, VMware. Liquid Web is located in Lansing, Michigan, United States and offers a broad range of cloud, WordPress and WooCommerce options alongside more traditional hosting. Established in 1997, the company offers “reliable, highly-available, secure, and hassle-free hosting” supported by its trademark ‘Heroic Support’. The company caters to around 30,000 customers through two data centers in the Michigan area of the United States. By partnering with VMware the companies will be able to offer a flexible, secure, and scalable managed private cloud option.
Part of the Dell Technologies group of companies, VMware has headquarters in Palo Alto, California, United States. Established in 1998, the company is a “global leader in cloud infrastructure and digital workspace technology”. VMware solutions modernize data centers and integrate public clouds to enhance business agility and help businesses accelerate their digital transformation. VMware (and NetApp) technology underpins Liquid Web’s new ‘Managed Private Cloud’.
Liquid Web's Managed Private Cloud offers “enterprise-level features and functionality at affordable prices to small to midsize business” allowing the provision of multiple virtual machines from a single cluster of physical servers that support Windows and Linux. "Today's customers are not only looking for security and flexibility with a private cloud but also the management that frees them up to focus on their business,” explained Liquid Web’s Director of Managed Hosting Products Melanie Purkis. “Managed hosting and services comprise the core of Liquid Web. That makes this new offering a perfect fit for our customers," she added.
