DreamHost has announced it has competed a new credit facility. Los Angeles, California-based DreamHost offers a range of services alongside managed WordPress. These include traditional shared hosting, dedicated servers and Virtual Private Server (VPS) packages and domain name registration services. The company also offers cloud storage and cloud computing services in the shape of its proprietary ‘DreamObjects’ and ‘DreamCompute’ cloud offerings. It was in the news earlier this year for its launch of ‘Remixer’ which allows users to export websites and their content directly to WordPress. DreamHost’s latest credit facility was provided by J.P. Morgan and gives the company access to $18 million.
J.P. Morgan offers a full suite of financial services and has particular expertise in international markets. The company specializes in offering services that facilitate high-volume credit card transactions. DreamHost benefits from J.P. Morgan’s flexible repayment schedule and the “ability to grow and reinvest in core aspects of its business as it continues to deliver a top-tier managed WordPress experience”.
“This financing provides DreamHost with substantial economic opportunities and lower borrowing costs as we aggressively pursue growth by investing back into our people and into our customers’ success,” explained DreamHost Controller Ho Yun. “We are thrilled to join forces with J.P. Morgan and leverage their expertise in both domestic and international operations. We see J.P. Morgan as a true strategic collaborator for facilitating operational improvements for our many customers worldwide,” he added.
