According to the company, this is “the world’s first Microsoft Exchange 2007 outsourcing service” and it “allows midmarket companies to adopt Exchange 2007, without the high costs of an in-house deployment”.

By Intermedia.NET’s estimation, most midsized companies can save over $100,000 dollars by adopting an outsourcing solution. Exchange 2007 demands the latest hardware with full redundancy and also requires a purchase of Outlook 2007. Intermedia.NET customers have a range of plans available to them – clustered, SAN-based Exchange solutions – or Custom Enterprise plans, which offer dedicated Exchange servers. Intermedia.NET’s solution includes all hardware and licenses within the monthly price of the hosted service.
