NYI has announced the expansion of its portfolio which now contains direct access to the Equinix International Business Exchange in Secaucus. The Exchange, which is known as NY4, is considered one of the key locations in the Equinix financial ecosystem.

With these developments, customers will henceforth be able to enhance their customized deployments, with the network currently consumed by over 680 Equinix financial services customers. Some of these users consist of buy-side and sell-side firms, hedge funds and trading technology vendors.
General Manager of global networks and mobility, Jim Poole, explained how the move will enable them to offer services in new markets. "By leveraging Platform Equinix, NYI is able to offer its managed services into new markets by tapping into our ecosystem for new business opportunities,” he said.
