NYI has been selected to provide infrastructure support for
Viggle, the app that offers benefits to viewers for checking into the television shows they're viewing.
Viggle is available across various Apple products along with Android-based devices, and allows users to redeem their points within the app. Rewards include movie tickets, music and gift cards along with the chance to make charity donations.
The premier data center provider has created a customized solution that meets the technological and a business requirement of Viggle, which identifies the TV shows users are watching and distributes points to them following a check-in.
Geir Magnusson, CTO of Viggle, explained the reasons behind the company's decision saying, "We turned to NYI because of their track record of supporting successful Silicon Alley startups."

Specializing in dedicated servers, managed services and cloud computing, NYI will offer infrastructure to the app-driven loyalty program.
