Cirrus Tech has announced they will be offering Parallel’s Plesk 9 control panel as an add-on to their dedicated server hosting plans. Building on the strengths of their popular Plesk 8.6 control panel, Parallels have further enhanced their control panel by incorporating more features for Plesk users allowing for an easier, more profitable, and complete control panel solution.
As an established Canadian partner of Parallels, the developer of Plesk, Cirrus Tech was able to test Plesk 9 before it was released to the public on December 9, 2008. As a result, Cirrus Tech was able to determine early on the benefits of Plesk 9. Of particular interest to Cirrus Tech Dedicated Server clients is the new Reseller Mode.
Plesk 9 adds a reseller user level allowing dedicated server clients to create and administer their own reseller accounts. Some of the highlights of Plesk 9 include a new reseller mode, enhanced interface for efficient navigation, and complete integration with APS Catalog and Plesk Billing.
Plesk 9 is currently available as an add-on to any Cirrus Tech dedicated server plans, and can run on both Linux and Windows environments. After further testing, Cirrus Tech aims to update their shared hosting, and VPS plans with Plesk 9 early in the New Year.
